Happy Black History Month Everyone, as we all know this month we take time to honor our community and those who have influenced us down through the years . Not those only those who impacted us back then but we are giving room to honor those who are making an impact today.. In honor of February’s Black History Month many Black-owned brands and other retailers have amplified their voices through various merchandise categories in store and online. Below I will give a few who decided to pay homage .

- Vans has launched a special black history month collaboration with four rising artist. Rewina Beshue, Chris Martin, Sydney G. James and Tony Whign. Each artist has created custom prints that celebrate Black culture. Vans will present each artist on the site’s homepage along with a story about their life and artistry. Vans will also donate $40,000 to the Black Arts Future fund.

2. Undr Armr x Dvnlln Collaboration
Under Armour has partnered with local Baltimore photographer Devin Allen and this collection has been in the works for two years. The collection includes shoes and apparel featuring pictures of young Black athletes shot by the local artist.
3. Target
Target presents “Black Beyond Measure,” which includes a limited-time assortment of apparel and accessories from Black creators along with a spotlight on Black-owned brands sold at the giant retailer.

4. Forever 21
Forever 21 released its first Black History Month collection. The line launched on Feb. 4 and was designed by three up-and-coming Black artists, who dreamed up some truly unique, awe-inspiring pieces.

5. Nordstrom
Nordstrom has partnered with 12 new Black-founded brands, such as Sienna Naturals and Rosen. The retailer has created an online storefront that explains what it’s doing to promote racial equality

6. Nike
The activewear brand has come out with limited-time colorways of some of its popular sneakers like the Air Max and Air Force. The bright colors are a nod to ’90s street style and meant to represent self-expression.
7. Michael’s
Michaels has decided to develop a line of Diy supplies for black history month. Michael’s will donate a portion of the proceeds to Management Leadership for Tomorrow, a nonprofit that supports racial equity.

8. Walmart
Walmart has created a black history month page that features Black-owned brands and some of the stories behind their founders. Popular picks include The Lip Bar, Scotch Porter, and Mielle Organics. Walmart will committ $100 million over five years to fighting systemic racism through its Center for Racial Equality.
